		<description>Mike,
Posting more? Don’t make any promises you can’t keep; its better not to make an oath… but I would love to see more from you. I would also encourage people to setup Google Reader or the like as their homepage so they won’t miss any of the fine Christian blogs that are available.

I just love Job; it’s my favorite OT book. Here’s how I see it, if you start taking yourself too seriously it’s time to catch the Flu. Think about it, when you have the Flu, you forget about all those plans you had because all you want is to stop hurting. OK that’s not very encouraging is it : ) I will use this scripture for the third time in two days…

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

I noticed that on any Sunday when the enemy was giving it his all to make sure things wouldn’t go according to our plan (you know, the projector bulb goes out, it’s summer and the air conditioning isn’t working, the PA has dead channels and just wants to feedback and buzz, etc.), there would be the most amazing outpouring from the Holy Spirit, people would gather at the alter accepting the Lord’s salvation and I would know that God is in control. After I realized that God can save people regardless of circumstance, the little issues took there place as little issues.

So my encouragement:
If you’re tired, rest…Nehemiah rested for 3 days when he arrived in Jerusalem.
If things aren’t going your way, ask if they are going God’s way.
If you are down, look up.
