I want to know will God bless me if I was to get remarried, I got married to a lady that was controlling and didnt like my son she left me with no food or money to eat after I paid the . She didnt show me love and,I messed up by marrying her on the condition she would change along with being pressured by her. We have, been separated over 4 years
now and the love Is gone. She has moved on and has little communication with me.
Mike,
It sounds like you have had a very difficult journey. It sounds to me like your wife has abandoned you and moved on. It is up to you to see if she is willing to reconcile and pursue a relationship with you. I think you need to make sure that your heart is in the right place and you have fully exhausted all options for reconciliation before you move on. If she has no desire to return to the relationship and you guys move forward with a divorce I would be really careful to guard your heart that you dont fall into sexual sin or become filled with anger or resentment. That being said, if the marriage is at an end and the divorce has become final, the Bible has no restrictions on remarriage. In fact the Bible prefers that people get married if they still have passion and desire not to be alone. I think that the way you pursue your future spouse and are a one woman man who shepherds your wife well is the defining characteristics of whether you are going to be honoring God or not. God wants you to be someone who honors him and if that is the posture of your heart, he will be pleased with you.
